The Gulf States Health Policy Center (GS-HPC) conducts health policy research and builds community coalitions to improve the health rankings of the Gulf States (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida). A partnership of BayouClinic, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and The University of Southern Mississippi, the GS-HPC aims to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes in the Gulf region.
